I made these wool felt lined center seams from brain tan deerskin

I have no idea about 1/8th inch thick

How did you put the wool in them and where did you get the wool at I been thinking about making a pair for when I'm deer hunting

I'm going to make a winter pair from elk and lined with some black 3 band broadcloth I have

I just made the liner like a separate moc with the seams on the outside. I didn't turn them inside out. I pushed them in and just sewed around the flaps

actually they are not overly warm even in our hot weather. They keep the deerskin from feeling clammy if they get wet

Whateveryou make some winter moccs from they wet through easy. Keep several pairs of socks and change often, keep one pair just to sleep in.
