On Saturday June 13th, all who wish to shoot a Ferguson Rifle muster behind the blockhouse at 4:30 PM. If you have ever wanted to shoot one of these or find out about it's history be there!
More shooting than talking I hope!!! This is not a
contest just show up and shoot!

Grizz

GRZROB,
I'll be there with my camera, but I'd lay it down to take a shot. I want the makens of an article for my web site. I think I mentioned that to you in an earlier post. A small video would be good too.

Regards,
Pletch
PS - I forgot - A rep from Olympus will help me video flintlocks on Monday behind GunMakers Hall. A video of a lock firing takes a minute to play back if done at 5000 frames/second. All are welcome.

Well, I expect to be in Friendship by noon on Saturday, so will try to remember to come over to the blockhouse and see what is going on. Sounds like something very interesting.

See ya, Jim/OH :hatsoff:

Well, I am bound in too big "lifestyles". One is traditional archery and the other is "traditional muzzleloading". As luck wants it, there are the Cloverdale Traditional Nationals on the 12,13,14th of June and at the same time the Spring Shoot from 13th to the 21st. From the 18th until the 21st there is the Compton Traditional Rendezvous. That always makes the decision pretty hard, since I have enough time during the week.
I will probably go to Cloverdale and then to the rest of the Spring Shoot...
Seems I have to buy me a kit from TRS someday soon.

Hell if you make it to Friendship look me up in the afternoons after the range closes. I stay in the small cabin near the Blockhouse. Tuesday is the Greenville match anf Wednesday is the pig picking at the Blockhouse. Other days later in the week will be fine. I will try to save some
fixings from the Saturday afternoon frolic.
hope to see you there.

Ok, I know where that is! I have been there a few times already, mostly hanging around the the scrimshaw lady and the leather guy at the primitive range. We`ll see then....
