First build

Here is my first attempt at a build. Mostly parts off ebay except a Pecatonica 2nd stock and a new triggerguard from TOW. Right at $300 including a couple small tools I needed. It has a Euroarms .45 cal, 36" barrel and an old DGW lock that had never been used. See my post under photos/Daughters first shots to see how it shoots. Built it for my son and put a little dedication plaque on it as a keepsake. Will try to get a good full-length picture and post it later.

I got lost there momentarily looking at that floor. Some very interesting marks on it. How old is it?
BTW, nice gonne. My first one did not turn out that nice, but was fun to shoot.

The floor is only 10 years old, Southern yellow pine. With the help of a couple dogs we got it distressed real good :grin:

Just finished a Traditions kentucky pistol and now I'm starting the serious planning of my personal rifle-I might have to invest some real money in that one :grin:
