Well after the GRRW Leman that came with a cracked stock, I decided that I would find a good entry level muzzleloader to get into deer hunting with. I came across a well cared for early Renegade 54 cal. I’m pretty happy with it, and I can’t wait to shoot it. The stock has more of a dull oil finish and different sight than my dads 1983-ish Renegade.

Here are some pics.

Wise choice. Don't just go shoot it,, learn how to shoot it.
One of those was my first,, there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then, but that thing brought me into this realm with confidence.
It was easy to turn that rifle into not only a proven game hunter/harvester, but a tack driving tournament winner.
That Renegade sight picture is still the best for me with a 6 o`clock hold,,

Hope you have lots of fun with it. I love those mini cannons!:thumb:

It will be nice to have another Renegade .54 on the line. Be interesting to see how they perform side by side.
