I was in the same boat you are in Hubertus.One day I was at the range with Smokin 50. and I mentioned my flash rust problem. He suggested I try to do a range cleaning before I went home. He let me try out his Butch's Bore Shine. Well it worked great for a range cleaning. Then he asked me if I had allot of Iron in the water and I told him yes. He suggested I tryed using distilled water. Well anyways I went home and cleaned with distilled water and my flash rust problems were 95% fixed. Give it a try :thumbsup:
