Olive à Marseilles, circa 1750. Round barrel divided by chiselled bands with smooth bore in 17 mm calibre. The breech is engraved with gilded vine and rocaille ornamentation. Finely cut flintlock engraved with the signature "Olive à Marseille". A full stock of beautifully figured thuja root wood carved with decorative vines. Butt stock has a few old wormholes. Silver furniture with engraved and relief decoration and a number of hallmarks. Large silver barrel bands richly embossed with decorative rocaille.
