Phil - Both the F&I War and Rev War major reenactment events at Ft Ti in June and Sept are history. The new PC/HC requirements of reenactors have pretty much led to a major boycott of Ft Ti. Much smaller two day events are now the norm, where reenactors sign on to the stricter PC/HC requirements. Last Year's Rev War event was so sparsely attended that many reenactors were stipended to attend and there were only about a half dozen sutlers. Many negative comments were voiced that weekend as to the direction of the new management team at Ti and the Ticonderoga community was disturbed that visitor numbers had decreased so dramatically. However, my attendance at a couple of events and historical talks found some good to the changes, ie. new exhibits and displays. It's already apparent that other F&I locations are now taking over preeminence in these reenactments, ie. Ft La Presentation at Ogdensburg, NY, Crown Point and, of course, Ft Niagara, on the first weekend of July. It appears that the very large F&I War Grand Encampment event has ended.

That is to bad I liked going to all the sutlers will have to look on line for other forts and schedules around the hudson valley. thank you for the info.
