Pull the lock off, take some photos of the inner lock components and start a new post asking for help. I’m sure there’s people that can help troubleshoot the issue.Received today and the lock doesn't lock in the firing position I didn't know it was a non shooter I had bought. Won't even set off a cap . Disappointed

Why work on a defective item when it should be returned to the seller for a full refund including the shipping?!!Pull the lock off, take some photos of the inner lock components and start a new post asking for help. I’m sure there’s people that can help troubleshoot the issue.
Did you miss the part where the seller has mysteriously disappeared? Why work on a defective item when it should be returned to the seller for a full refund including the shipping?!!
Yes I guess I didn't see that the green plastic nipple cover the hammer is in half **** all ready you can see it in the pictureDid you miss the part where the seller has mysteriously disappeared?
Looks like this may have been intentional. In which case trying to troubleshoot and fix the problem seems like a great idea to me.
I should not have to figure it out if was advertised as a good shooterSame gun sold by Hawk54 on Jan 15 of this year through the forum. Be patient, it is a real gun just need to figure it out.
No I don't think that's the problemIf you try to remove the drum for any reason be advised it may be left hand threads and there should be a very tiny little arrow indicating that on the barrel by it. I missed that on the exact model I was converting to flint and only after twisting it off did I notice the little arrow.
Wasn't expecting to buy some one else's problem but o well it happensNo I don't think that's the problem
As mentioned loosen the lock and see if it holds at full & half **** positions..
If not remove the lock and look for areas that the metal is contacting the wood..
The trigger maybe inlet a little too deeply causing an issue as well..
On the nipple is half **** and the other is where full **** should be
