Really enjoying the indepth look at the build
Cool bud . Hope it helps some in a build . I ain't no star builder but ive made a few of em . Just love trade guns . Hope ya dont mind my ramblings ! LOL.Really enjoying the indepth look at the build
Its kind cool ..it not only let's me see at a glance how close I am or I'm getting but I use it as a reference for my lower octagons too , I can kinda rough then in , middle first , then later when the barrel gets down there and leaves blackni can refine my roughed in octagons to finish ... When the barrel black hits around that marker black I know I'm right there at the finish line ....Although goofy, a very good idea that I never thought of.
How's-a-bout Bidens new Executive order (pending). By law women can have only 1 beer, or 1 glass of wine, or 1 shot a week, and men 2 of same. Any more will be a federal offence. I, personally, don't drink, but for those who do. Y'all are in for it. Semper Fi.Lmao !! Thats great! Sobriety sucks ! Been 10 months since ive had a drink ....Lordy , I could use one , sitting in doctors office right now , after pharmacy ... If I had one of those blenders , gas powered , the engine e would break down today !!
Have him come shoot with the Ancient Ones Of Maine!

New Hampshire? I’m happy to hear that! I thought NH would have a large bunch of Flintlock Shooters. when I did a search a couple years back for any NMLRA clubs hoping to find others to shoot with there is not one in the entire state! I was disappointed to say the least. I guess there could be some small clubs that are not associated but they sure are hard to find! If you don’t mind ask your Buddy if he knows of any BP clubs I’m curious. I could not believe it with the French and Indian War history and I read New Hampshire supplied the most me to the Continental Army during the Revolution of any other state. Yet not one National Muzzle Loader Rifle Association associated club! I have to double check that now.Welp ....Here's the " Start " picture , LOL !! Fusil de Chasse build for a bud in New Hampshire . Just got the walnut stock cut out of the plank , " in the rough " . Gonna be 20 ga., 44" barrel .
Unfortunately still not one since I looked last; Vermont has two. No doctors and no muzzle loaders NMLRA affiliated clubs good grief why did I buy property here!New Hampshire? I’m happy to hear that! Its got to be awfully beautiful up there ! Ive only seen pictures , never visited. I believe he messaged you bud . I hope you find a group to shoot with . I'm pretty much by myself here in S.E. Ohio too . A few shooters of caplock half stocks , and nice guys dont get me wrong , but nothing serious like woods walks or anything like that. Best of luck ....Unfortunately still not one since I looked last; Vermont has two. No doctors and no muzzle loaders NMLRA affiliated clubs good grief why did I buy property here!

Yes it’s beautiful here I’m originally from Long Island bought a house in Marlow a year before the pandemic. No weed wacker no blowers just peace and quiet and the sound of freedom. Plenty of deer and occasionally a bear visit.it’s nice unfortunately I think im getting too old for the rugged life but im going to hang in as long as i can. Im up in the air! Rockchester NH looks great and they have doctors. The sunsets and the night sky with shooting stars is unreal. A little chilly in the winter but you acclimate rather quickly. I would just like to shoot with others occasionally I’m essentially a novice but I’ve been around guns my hole life; flintlocks have become the icing on the cake. Ohio is awesome another free state.
