I found one a few months ago. It was also unfired, but not anymore. I shoot it, and it is the most accurate rifle that I own. Love it. I saw a woman shooting one at the Commenwelth games in Va. and she was too embarassed to say what she paid for it. She just knew she had to have it. They are bringing big prices, for sure.

Good thinking, maybe I'll look into getting a breech for it and a raw barrel and doing it myself. I have the .36 but wouldn't mind adding a .45.

Do you, or anyone, know of a source for parts for a Seneca? Like breeches, locks or lock parts, etc.?

I am quite possibly wrong, but I believe that Cain's Outdoor has the most T/C parts available for the Seneca and other T/C guns of that era. After the factory burned, and along with it the parts for Senecas, et al., Cain's ended up with the greatest bulk of salable parts. That being said, I have called T/C and had them send me some miscellaneous screws, a wedge pin, and sight parts. They had no problem with inventory on those parts I asked for. So, try both sources.

My thought is I've been wanting a .36 Seneca for quite a while and cant find one. Nice find!

I live about 2 miles from Cain's. I'll check into the parts situation and see what they say.
