Seen on news that GOEX had a fire and plant will be shut down for a while.

 

Better grab some powder while I can.Thats a bummer.

I was in Cabela'a Sunday in KC MO and got 2 lbs GOEX 2F for $5, of course I had to sign up for their Cabela's credit card, when I did sign up I got $30 dallors off my first use of the card.
Lucky I guess..

Here's the important part of the "Shreveport Times" article:

"Even with Goex out of production for the next few months, the supply of black powder to markets throughout the nation should not be affected.
"We keep a large inventory for such large mishaps as this," Fahringer said." (Goex President).

They had a problem 2 yrs ago when the one part (grainery)exploded didnt seem to cause a real problem for supply

Getting it in Washington state is the same either way.,the Feds made sure of that. The last known source in my vicinity finished carrying it 3 months ago due to the new Regs. I have been working on other solutions.
