LOL, Yeah, your gonna need a different belt of all that!
I made a scout style sheath for my bowie cuz it's so heavy. It rides sideways right on the belt and the loops are wide (distributes the weight). It doesn't dangle down and tug on a single point like a normal sheath. I'll post pics if I remember.
Not much you can do about that Peacemaker though...
I like the loop for the tomahawk, but in the old paintings it always looks to me like they just tucked in a sash. Your way seems better in any event.
Related question: At rendezvous/matches where there is hawk throwing, do they usually supply the same hawks to everyone, or do you bring your own? I bought a set of cheap throwers to practice, but they're not very period correct.

Nice, a wider belt made of a heaver weight leather would do wonders to increase comfort and reduce the felt weight of that rig.
Ya bring your own, it just needs to be a proper straight wood handled tomahawk with a blade 4" or smaller.
(leave the modern ergonomic hatchets at home).
But, usually if ya hang out around the hawk blocks someone will step up with pointers and/or share their hawk for at least a few throws,,
(if you screw-up and make a toss that breaks or cracks the handle,, you owe him for a new one! $5-6 today)
