Many years ago I was involved in a short film for Disney. After the day's filming was finished, about twenty of us were asked to walk off the set to a secluded area. There we were asked to fire numerous rounds either singular or volley. We did that for about forty-five minutes if not longer with our long guns. An occasional pistol was thrown in for noise too. All of the sound was recorded and used to dub into the film. I thought it was cheating... but I understood why they wanted the sound recording. We had some more fun and others only got to watch while we made a ton of noise and smoke.
