I guess everyone’s trying too capitalize on the ammo shortage...

I saw this posted on a local Forum.

My years of hoarding is starting to make a lot more sense
It's interesting the folks I know that used to mutter snide remarks about my "paranoia" behind my back, they are the same folks now that are all in a panic as this is unfolding before their very eyes, if this wasn't so serious it would be funny to watch as they scramble trying to figure out whats most important to develop first, food stores and the ability to garden, or protection, they are a little late to the party as these are learned skills developed over a lifetime of effort.

Been the recipient over many years of stuff folks did not want. Wound up with several hundred pounds of cast bullets of all kinds including many stacks of cookie tins full of minie balls and ingots. Never thought i'd see whats happening now.

I am glad swmbo doesn't know about the sheets of lead I hid under some shelves in the garage many years ago when they redid the local hospitals x-ray rooms.
Will it glow it the dark?? Easy to find the lead in the backstop!! LOL!!!

Got plain scared at the prices Ive seen lately.
352 lg rifle primers $53.
38 special at Bud's $75 for 50.
Lead $2 a lb.

Heck I have 4 cans of powder from the 70s,and someone offered me $150 for them.

We may be entering a period of unprecented inflation affecting absolutley everything. Housing here is approching double from 3 years ago or less and supplies like lumber, concrete and steel have followed suit thanks to the hard left turn. As an example we needed a new metal outbuilding. Had we placed the order one day later the cost would have gone from $9k to $14K. As heard on our now .near silent, local range "Black powder is nice but you cannot eat it."

Speaking of inflation on housing. A remodeled house in our area on 1.9 acres that most local people think looks like a machine shed even down to the metal siding and windows just sold for 300,000. Two years ago the house sold for 45 thousand! With land in our area going for over 10,000 an acre my small farm makes me a millionare. But at least I can eat what we grow!
