I am trying to find what options I have for a cva hunter Hawken and/or a cva Hawken mountain rifle.

I am wanting to try to be able to shoot 200 yards open sights so I am thinking a ladder sight or peep style or even a tang sight.

I am not sure if any of the tc sights will fit the cva’s...

What options do I have? I have found a Williams Hawken rear peep but can’t find them in stock...

The Williams and the Lyman are both out of stock nearly everywhere. Either would be a good start. Next for, targets try a globe sight with fine inserts such as the Lee Shaver set. You can use them for hunting in good light but you may need to change your front sight to something else. I’m working with a fiber optic front sight currently in conjunction with the tang rear. I like it...
I’m sure you can make one of these sights work on the cva...

I have been working on a new tang sight that is 3 way adjustable. Windage, elevation and angle. They should be ready in about a week. Here is a picture of the prototype. They are precision machined steel and are very durable. They will run about $100

That’s awesome! When will they be available

Which tang rear are you using?
I’m using a few. Lyman, Williams foolproof to Montana Vintage Arms. They all have their place. For a hunting rig, it’s hard to beat Lymans 57. It’s got a resettable scale on the side of the sight body so that once you get dialed in with your chosen load you can quickly reset elevation for pre set longer ranges. Handy. But I prefer it and the Williams to the Thompson Center sights.

Clever! I like it! Will you offer taller standards and are they threaded for common sight discs like the Hadley?

Can you find these anywhere?
