Hello all. I've been away from muzzleloading for some time now, but am looking to get back into it. Retired and having time, I hope to build my rifle this time. Most likely a flintlock; Pennsylvania or Lancaster rifle in 54 caliber. So I'll be asking some questions soon enough And feel free to give advice here on this thread. If you're not too shy about advice (he says with a knowing grin).
As for me, I am a retired teacher; second career, and have been enjoying shooting and hunting most of my life Tried CAS and loved it but arthritis has made single action too painful. Bench rifle, skeet, and trap are still available to me. As I hope muzzle loading and primitive hunting will be.

Welcome from Fayetteville, NC.

In your "backyard" is a muzzle loading gun club. Hope you can join them. Their range used to be in the Gray Court area.
