I found out the hard way when I messed up to buying two handguns a year later she was really upset. Her remark was have I ever said no or gotten mad when you buy a gun. My only remark is I don't think you need another one. Never hid one again.

I pulled the trigger on another SMR. I just finished building one. This will be the fifth one I’ve put together. A colonial, a wood runner, and two SMR‘s. This will be the third. Oh my God I can’t stop. Help. My wife does not know about this one.
Two for me. An SMR that's proven the Kibler kits aren't all perfect and a Woodsrunner I won't get to start messing with till next week.

Tell her she's beginning to sound like your ex wife. IF she says she didn't know you were married before, inform her you weren't.
Give your wife some money and tell her it is for her to buy shoes. Women are crazy about shoes. Maybe there is something else she wants?
