How do you transport your longrifle?

Didn't they make a decal of several guns on a rack just for the rear window? Or am I remembering something that wasn't there? I guess for those who couldn't afford the real thing.
Yeah, I remember them. Probably not a good idea in some states today. Get you a hot stop for sure back east :cool:
 
This is rural and the club range is less than 10 miles. So into the back of the Subaru with blanket for padding. Or into the Tundra crew cab same way.
That said, I would not leave the vehicle unlocked if I stopped for a coffee enroute. As a percentage of population we have as many junkies and thieves as you will find in a city.

I have been wondering about carrying wrapped in a blanket in PVC pipe.. Have to leave the buttstock and maybe more exposed. That and bungee the PVC to something secure. A bit more protection for a short ride than just a blanket.
