In the field or for standing off hand matches etc. carry the horn and shooting bag on your right side (right handers ), for shooting from a bench keep your gear behind you on the loading bench .As a side note only carry what is needed to operate the gun in your shooting pouch any other gear you may need for whatever reason carry in a haversack on your leftside (eg if hunting snacks ,firstaid ,cleaning rag , )
