Actually I'm a little concerned that an article in Scientific American is considered "evidence". It's hearsay....it's a secondary source, and they may screw things up in the reporting. It happens. OR it may be 100% correct but I read the article and it's full of anecdotal stuff too. I'd like to read the actual study from the CDC before I considered the reported information "accurate". Especially when the CDC admitted last month that their fact that people should stay 6' apart for COVID was just something they made up.

There are 509 law enforcement agencies in California. Given that the state only has control of a handful of them, who gave the order for all the local and county forces to 'stand down'? No person or agency has that power; each and every city or county would have to do it individually.

I know there is a lead ban on shot. I can understand that for duck hunting. Sorry to any duck hunters. Lead shot sinks in the water, fish eat the shot, people eat the fish. How many fish eat the shot? I don't know. How much lead do they eat? I don't know. Is lead poisoning any better than mercury poisoning? I don't know.
