I found this on an auction site, but cannot find another picture with a lock like this anywhere. It is suppossed to be a Pedersoli, but the lock on every Pedersoli Hawkens with a single wedge I can find has a drum on the barrel, and no engraving on the lock. It this a bubba gun? The price is very reasonable, just don't want to buy something that's been chopped.

I think the new budget line of Pedersoli Hawken rifles look just like the Investarms rifles.

Pretty much, except they have a drum on them. I found pictures of the investarms rifles that are identical to the one he is selling. The rifle was mis-identified in the auction. That could ruin someones day...
THANKS ALL for pointing me in the right direction.

I own one, if you get it at a good price don't be shy ($220 ish). Shoots very well. And looks great.

I think the Investarms rifles are pretty good shooters.

I agree. It is a Cabela's Hawken by Investarms. I have a Cabela's Hawken left hand version that bought in the early 90's. I may be wrong about this but I think that Investarms made the Charles Daly Hawken also.

Just means zero shiny brass, all black iron like stuff. I will soon find time to re-read a tutorial to post pics and try. Or you can just google it or maybe look on Cabelas site?
