Amen, put this one to bed already.Boys and girls after 9 pages it comes down to this, just do want you want. Ricky Nelson sang "you can't please everyone so you got to please yourself".
I have loaded my revolvers directly from the flask for over 20 years. I always blow into the empty chambers before dumping in the powder. No issues. Now I know we are not supposed to load a Muzzleloader from the flask but instead from a measure. My question is, has anyone had a measure of powder ignite while loading and under what circumstance IE: dumping it in straight after firing, having it go off after swabbing the barrel then loading. Only personal experience please, not hearsay. Cheers
Revolvers don't come into consideration with blowing down the barrel before reloading. Different animal.I have loaded my revolvers directly from the flask for over 20 years. I always blow into the empty chambers before dumping in the powder. No issues.
