Once I posted my reply, I realized "isn't there a ton of gun stuff on ebay, including stocks, small parts, and sights YOU have bought?" I didn't go back and edit though......

An upper receiver is not a firearm but it is part of an EBR (Evil Black Rifle). I would not buy a muzzleloader through Paypal for fear of the transaction being denied and me having no legal recourse. A part would be fine but not the entire weapon.

What do you think ?
I think this was tried before a few years ago.

Why anyone would use a service and give them money when they are in opposition to your civil rights defies logic and is self defeating.

I avoid their use whenever possible and pass on buying things when the sellers will not accept other means of payment.

How did you pay for your premium membership ?

My interpretation of their policy doesn't prevent me from purchasing anything that isn't illegal, or regulated.

Pardon me, but I really don't think pay pal puts much stock into your interpretation of their rules.

We are also painfully aware of your affinity for "common sense" gun control from the thread on Cabela's ceasing shipment of muzzleloading arms.

I used my credit card through the system provided by the forum, and felt that compromise of principals was worth it to support a very good community

How did you pay for yours?

Oh wait that's right, you didn't, and have stated previously you don't intend to and referred to the areas restricted to contributing members as a "sewer"

To re-steer this thread to it's original intent; my mailer still hasn't been delivered to the Seller, still dosen't show tracking results. I believe this is the end of my long association with the US Post Office. Until now I would've bet on them beyond the other carrier choices. But I've reached my limit.

Things are not optimal right now, especially in logistic and supply chains, which multiply the deficiencies caused by the Covid "lockdown". I am afraid we are all going to have to buckle down and live with it for a while.

I sympathize with your plight, but remember a day when "Mail Order" was a thing and telephone contact for an order was "high tech". Shipping dates were universally quoted as 4-6 weeks. We have gotten spoiled.

Ha, spoiled, I guess you're right. Of course using that logic the Pony Express took 6mos or more to deliver a letter! Kidding aside I take you're point. I have however voided my transaction with the Seller, whenever or if my mailer ever arrives I've asked him to destroy it. From here forward my internet purchases will be some form of guarenteed payment and ANY other shipper BUT USPS. And it breaks my heart to choose so.

I was alive and ordering during the "Mail Order" days. Contrary to popular belief, I was not around for the Pony Express.:)

Hope it all works out well for you.

Dear nhmoose,
He did say,

"Why anyone would use a service and give them money when they are in opposition to your civil rights defies logic and is self defeating.

If you don't use them, you become a "tool" for special interests. I prefer to use them as a tool for my interests.

did somebody mention paypal.............I paid $250.00 + for an empty box ,no refund after paying another $40.00 Can for a police report which did no good...
My advice..... stay as far away as you can from paypal..............cl
