I bought a Lyman Great Plains Rifle Special Edition Kit. At least that was what it said on the box it came in. But the only markings on the barrel says DA140238 an oval with a DP in it an PEDERSOLI - cal. 50 - 1:48" . So is this a Lyman or a Pedersoli? My main reson for asking is I took it out today for the first time to shoot it along with my Traditions St. Louis model rifle. While cleaning them after a "Wonderful day of shooting" I noticed the number 11 nipple wrench worked on the Traditions but not on the Lyman\Pedersoli. So I went to Pedersoli site and they don't have my gun listed. Okay no problem so I go to Lyman site and they do have it listed but not by the DA140238 number stamped on my barrel. So two questions. One what is it? Two anybody know which nipple wrench/tool will fit it?
Oh both rifles shoot great especially for my very first time shooting Black Powder. Hah I'm no longer a virgin.
Okay that's it thanks.
