I soaked this 1863 Westley Richards breach in my Kero and penetrate oil for a few weeks. The right barrels cone came out just fine, but the left was buggered up before I got the gun and was really stuck. I set up the drill press and knowing the flats of the nipple were rounded I went one further step. De-greased the nipple and put some grease inside the wrench. Mixed up some JB and packed it in the tool then brought the quill down and made contact with the nipple. The bag in the picture has 10# of lead to hold it contact. Walked away for about 30 hours and then applied more pressure to the handle while I used a rod in the chuck hole. Backed right out, if it didn't work I would have had to drill it out. I've done that before but I like to avoid doing that on an old one.
