Just Got My First Muzzle Loader

I had a pleasant surprise at my doorstep when I got home from work today. It was my new Kibler SMR in .45 finished and sold to me by olskool here in the forum. Here is the classified that I bought this from (more details and pictures of the gun there).

Having never handled a muzzle loader like this in my life, I was very surprised by how thin, svelte, and light this gun is. It's truly a work of art. I especially love the toe plate olskool made from a band saw.
My plan is to try and take a deer with it in January. I will definitely let yall know when and if that happens.

Thanks again to olskool for selling me this beautiful gun. I couldn't have asked for a better flinter to start with.

My goodness if I had a brick fireplace that could be a younger me right down to the dog. The gun fits you well take it easy and enjoy
