Bear sightings reported to me yesterday, less than 20 miles away. In Wayne county TN.

We live right in grizz country. Lots of ‘em around. Always give them a wide berth when horseback in the back country. Although blacks are more unpredictable in my experience.

I would love to carry that beautiful rifle into that beautiful countryside. Here in Maine black bears are everywhere and in great numbers.

Fully agree with HANSHI , as i have had bears walking right through my yard , along with Moose , Coyotes , fox , and a myriad of feathered friends ! Northern Maine is some cotton-pickin' beautiful this time of year !! But , i really do miss the Idaho mountains !! Military - - civil service - -out there 16 years.
