Received today and the lock doesn't lock in the firing position I didn't know it was a non shooter I had bought. Won't even set off a cap . Disappointed ☹️
Pull the lock off, take some photos of the inner lock components and start a new post asking for help. I’m sure there’s people that can help troubleshoot the issue.

Why work on a defective item when it should be returned to the seller for a full refund including the shipping?!!

Did you miss the part where the seller has mysteriously disappeared?

Looks like this may have been intentional. In which case trying to troubleshoot and fix the problem seems like a great idea to me.

Yes I guess I didn't see that 😔 the green plastic nipple cover the hammer is in half cock all ready you can see it in the picture

It appears to be a functional gun. The green cap is to protect the nipple. Markings including what appears to be a proof mark. All steel and not pot metal. If a wall hanger , a well made one.
Humidity sometimes causes problems , slowing the lock actions. Try loosening the lock bolt slightly or removing the lock to check function.
Cap to nipple fit isn’t always good due to manufacturing differences.

Same gun sold by Hawk54 on Jan 15 of this year through the forum. Be patient, it is a real gun just need to figure it out.
