I have been waiting impatiently for the Kibler fowler since it was first announced. Here are some of pictures as I took a peak at it soon after it arrived.

Question, can Jim K make the stock shorter? I am 5’ 8” tall and all of my guns have 12.5” trigger pulls. If the 13 5/8” trigger pull is a firm feature then it does me no good. I guess I can cut the stock back like I do on everything else.

I don’t think that Kibler is set up to modify the stock length.

Sorry, not able to modify the stock length. With some work, you could probably cut the stock back and re-fit the buttplate. An inch is a lot though. You might be able to get 1/2" without too much trouble. I just double checked the pull the other day and it's 13 5/8"

Jim

Jim, curious why the 16 gauge isn’t recommended for round ball shooting?

Very nice! If they ever get caught up enough to offer a left handed fowler I'll probably place one of the first dozen orders. With CNC programing it should be just a matter of time.

Thanks for posting these photos. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on assembly and finishing. I’m expecting mine next week, a 16 gauge with a walnut stock.

Ordering both barrels is an interesting idea.

You're in the same boat with me. I'm 5' 4" and prefer 12.5" lop. A 13" lop is okay if I'm not wearing a heavy coat. An lop of 12.5" works best for me and even a 12" lop fits me just fine. Shortening the butt stock, of course, brings up other problems especially with fitting the butt plate.

I'm also 5'8" and find I can usually adjust to an LOP of up to 14" - although 13.5" works best for me.

Wow ! Fellas that have similar L.O.P.s as I do ! and the associated problems too unfortunately. I'm 5' 8 ish and I like me a LOP just under 13.5 " , its perfect with mY Capote on , 13.5" is just fine in the summer though . Just got this beautiful Fusil de Chasse , Centermark , and I won't dare touch that buttplate ! Its beautiful ! but that d@&% L.O.P. is 14" ! Too much for this short fat boy ! LOL ! Wasnt sure what to do at first , just rough it BUT !!! There is room in the trigger guard ! The trigger is right in the middle of the bow ! So I can make a new trigger that sits in the back of the trigger guard bow ! It'll defiantly help !! I'll post it when its finished , and the building process .... Can't wait ! :) such a beautiful Fusil !!
