When the fowlers finally start getting delivered, I will be most interested in the accuracy or lack thereof that owners experience and if the shoot to point of aim.

High fives to Jim Kibler and crew for getting a much wanted flint fowler ready for orders and eventually sending to buyers. Maybe someday I'll make the plunge when I get caught up with a multitude of projects. I don't mean what I'm going to say in any mean, abusive, combative, demeaning way but all I can say to readers of this forum, esp this section and the Gun Builders one is buckle yer seatbelts and check the cinch as the minute Kiblers start sending out fowler kits there will be a flurry of posts from members stating they got theirs (hopefully being the first or one of the first to do so), more than likely showing pictures of the boxed parts and individual parts. Then there will be the rush to be first (or one of the first) to post they got their fowler finished (with pictures) then wondering when Jim will be offering another model kit. Check back on the history of Kiblers announcement of the WoodsRunner rifle. All of the posts stating they ordered, they got, they finished. I assume it may have been the same with whatever followed 2nd in Kiblers line of fine rifles. I'm thinking the Colonial, can't say, wasn't reading the forum then, but sort of what I infer from reading past posts. Just saying there will be a whole lotta forum space taken up by the Kibler Fowler by members letting everyone know they ordered, received, and finished. It is nice though to see the finished rifles though, enjoy that aspect. Again, no disrespect of any kind, not wanting to get into some cyber space argument, just stating the facts and predicting future posts.

When the Woodsrunner was a pre-order, mine took 6 months to get to my door, in retrospect if you were to have a long rifle or fowler built by a premier gun builder you could be looking at a lot longer wait. I'm not expecting to see my fowler order anytime soon, but it will be a good day when it happens.

Indeed. Maybe there should be a Kibler sub-forum here😉

Just asking for a friend …lol.
