It depends on the intended purpose.I'm curious, if you were at a gun show, flea market, local gun shop, etc...
And there was multiple, complete Kibler rifles for sale, what caliber, smooth or rifled or what gauge would you be more likely to buy? Or other folks be more likely to buy?
SMR: .32, .36, .40, .45
Colonial: .50, .54, .58 Smooth or Rifled
Woodsrunner: .45, .50, .54
Fowler: 20ga or 16g
Thank you for any and all replies.

I know a fella has both, and he highly recommend them. He told me first time he shot his SMR, the ignition was so fast, he almost $h!t himselfDamn Good choices.

Johnny Too-Tall, it's tempting, very tempting. Plus I suffer from a slight addiction to these fine guns. It’s new unfired other than possibly test fire
They are a real fine shooting flintlock. A lot folks have posted their kills. I've taking mine hunting but no deer or hod got in shooting distance. I've only shot it out back at targets Sweet gun.My go-to rifle is my .45 Investarms Hawken. We pretty regularly fill the pot, and don’t often embarrass ourselves at Rendezvous. But I’m hoping to hunt an elk one day, so right now I’m selling off the occasional piece and saving my pennies for a Woodsrunner in .54. I got to handle a couple at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton last year and fell in love with their clean, workmanlike appearance and easy handling. The fact that it’s a mid-century style makes it especially appealing, as I still do a fair number of mid-to-late 18th century educational programs, and F&I is my first love. I’ve about worn out the screen on my phone scrolling through the quick ship kits and drooling.
