Looking good! The colors are really coming out. I think mine is on the fourth coat too. Spent well over an hour on the first coat after watching Mike Brooks, on the NRMLA video, talk about how long it takes rubbing it in for the first coat. It kept soaking it up so I kept rubbing it in.

Mine did the same on the first coat. Are you burnishing or rubbing with steel wool between coats? I haven't yet.

I burnished mine after the first coat with a piece of wood dowel, like the Kibler video. I have been applying the oil with white scotch brite (equivalent to 0000 steel wool) rubbing it in. After the applying the first coat, all by coats have been applied sparingly ( little goes a long way). Have not burnished between coats since the first.
