Well, I didn't do as good of a job posting updates on this build, but here she is, my deer slayer. As the title says it's my 2nd build, this time I used the Dunlap kit. I must say I have been very pleased with the quality of wood and components - highly recommend them.

Anyway, I'm not 100% finished. I still have to make a ramrod and knock back the gloss a bit with some steel wool.

Next build is going to be a 20 gauge New England Fowler!

Stunning  and contrary to popular belief the lock is on the right side :blah:

Very goot! :hatsoff:

That is a way nice piece of wood, that was a great job.....you did all that without a 'shopkatforeman"? :hmm:

Tell us how she shoots, and what loads etc....

You started with a nice piece of wood and did the figure due justice. Beautiful color and figure. By the way fit of the metal work not too shabby either. Let us know if she shoots as pretty as she looks.

Thanks all! I know it's hard to believe but no cats where used in the making of this rifle!

I'll give another update when I shoot her.

tremendous!

will give it multiple    as soon as I get the drool off the keyboard.

hope it makes great smoke!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

It's a grade 6 on the Dunlap scale. Can't say enough great things about Dunlap!
