Lock Too Tuned?

I'm going to try the sear Spring fix myself.Even someone with no experience fixing anything with tools smaller that a Hammer,Vice Grips and Cresent Wrench(Like myself) :grin: should be able to do it.I ordered a Tumbler and Fly just in case that don't pan out.As for taking the lock Back to the Smith that done the original Tuning,he lives in Pennsylvania and in His defence he told me it was already "real good" and I kinda pressured him to make it just "That" much better.All I know is that I can't have it going off only mili-seconds after hitting full cock.It scares the Crap :shocked2: out of you.
 
Your sear spring is held by a screw and a small tab that is mounted in a slot in the lock plate. Loosen the screw a turn or so and simply flick the spring loose from the slot. Then remove it. To replace, screw it almost down, push down on the spring and the tab will go back in the slot. Tighten.
