Does anyone know of a source for 1858 Remington wood grips that have a different contour then the factory ones?
I never liked the way the grips tapered down smaller at the top, making it harder to hold the gun tight enough ****** my hand from sliding too far up towards the action.
Colts have the perfect profile (for me).
Maybe some type of target grips that are a little wider at the top can be bought ?

I’ve had to modify my Colt grips (cap and ball and unmentionable) by reducing the bottom thickness to match the thinner top. Is this what you need?

I thought about the gun grip site listed above until I got a better look at their grips. Just my opinion. Couple pics from their site.
