Very true. I've asked about any tools, parts, etc that might still be around from his shop and it's all gone. Scattered all over the place by now I imagine.One thing for sure is that ol Louis or any of the Johnson City boys will not be building any more of these fine pieces. Meanwhile the dollars you’ld be buying it with are being diluted by the hundreds of billions every week. Something to ponder.
I know he didn't. I've seen some of the tools and parts.I can pretty much assure you that ol Louis had no CNC lathes or routers in that shop. The work of today's builders will pop your eyes out of your head But they do have the luxury of some very modern machine equipment. I aint mad at em. What they are turning out is absolutely incredible.
