I'm new to the ML shotgun and need some information. I recently purchased a 12 ga trapper shotgun and am using a full choke tube. My son and I patterned the gun yesterday and the best pattern was with 60 gr. of 777 and 1 1/8 oz of shot. The only problem is that the pattern was consistently low. Is there any way to get the gun to shoot higher or should I just point the gun higher?

You can bend the barrel upward or hold your head
higher or pad the comb of the stock which will force you to hold your head higher.

I had the same problem on a percussion side x side. I soldered a rear fixed site on (to stay somewhat traditional), which forces me to raise the front bead. Ive used it successfully to harvest ducks and pheasants on the wing and one tom turkey standing at 25 yds.

Whats the equiv in BP the 60grn of triple7???
Does it need some more fuel to get the muzzle to rise I am wondering???

I have had success with my gun by filing the muzzle, in your case filing a few thou of the bottom circumferance should raise the point of impact.
