IMHO, if it were mine, I would remove enough material from the end of the screw, so's it doesn't interfere with the nipple, then seal it in place, as Zonie mentioned.
IMHO, file or grind just enough material to clear the nipple, then seal with nail polish, clear lacquer, or blue locktight...then leave it in there or you will be buying a half dozen of those little screws so's you will have replacements when you drop it an lose it.
Moreover, you will forget where you put those half dozen replacements before you need one of them, then you will have to buy another half dozen and put 'em somewhere, where you won't forget where you put them. Then quickly forget where you put those. :idunno: :grin:
IMHO, it's much better to leave it in. It wasn't really designed to remove.
