I live in Italy in Bergamo near Pedersoli and near Investarm (investarm make plain pistol, Lyman bui it from Investarm )
Pedersoli have two quality brand: the one is rifle and pistol over 600 Euro, the secon is rifle an pistol under 600 E.
The frist have very good wood, good double trigger and francais stecker, the second is Very Very low quality BAD gun.
I hah a Pedersoli Continental Duelling Gun ( 390 Euro ) and it is a very dab pistol: Bad wood, too light like plastic, fake photo the Pistol seems have a nice blu barrel but when you open box you try an horrible bad-make brow windows barrel. But this is nothing, the trigger is horrible: it moving too much also in side ( 10 mm ) without touch meccanics. Bad belanced. prings are very very hard and after pull hammer 5 times four finger is red. Too much hard hammer cause too much hard trigger: you can't take an A4 paper at 10 meter.
So i ask for refound.
After a week a've buy Investarm Plain Pistol (290 Euro ) the quality of wood, mecanics, trigger, barrel is withou any doub BETTER than Pedersoli Continental Duelling.
So Pedersoli have some low quality gun that you will never buy. See before buy it.

Hello everybody, i write from Italy, it is a little hard for me to write in english about tecnical issues. I tray to be understandable. I have read about RE Davis double trigger for own Lyman Playn Pistol. This is a good solution but in Italy i may have to spend 150 $ pus 45$ to ship it to italy. So this days i've found a VERY INTRESTING solution: I have changed an hard spring with a soft spring, so now i have a 50 - 60g trigger. Trigger is became very very soft. Now i tray to explain how i have done it.
I'm talking about the small minor spring that move a small cilinder again trigger. In photo you can see black factory spring. This is very hard and oppose itself to trigger direction. I have change it with silver colored springs you can see in photo. This is very soft spring and oppose much less energy to trigger moviment. In this way i can shoot by soft touching trigger without move the sights. Try to belive it. For any question i'm there.

That's interesting. Good idea. Don't worry about your English, your doing fine. Our attempts to do as well in Italian would be hysterical for you. :wink:

Thanks very much i try to be understable.. i've opened new topic titoled :How to make very light trigger in Lyman Plain Pistol. I will upload new images. I hope to be useful to anyone wants to improve Lyman triggers. I think this is a very great gun!!
