I can’t believe I’m actually considering parting with this one, but I promised my wife I’d thin the herd—so here we are.

This is a Mike Adcock “Bear Rifle” in .62 caliber, built to handle serious business. It sports a 37.5” barrel and tips the scales at 11.6 lbs. Yes, it’s a beast—because it was built to be one. If you’re looking for a lightweight plinker, this isn’t it. This is a rifle for someone who wants to feel like they’re holding some real horsepower in their hands.

I picked this up from an old buckskinner who used it as his primary hunting rifle for years, but it’s still in excellent condition. The stock is a beautiful piece of tiger maple with just enough figure to catch the light and turn heads.

Price: $1,950 $1,900 shipped.

Payment: I accept most forms—just ask.

If you’ve been waiting for a rifle with both character and capability, this is it. Don’t miss your shot!

Make sure your wife stays on her own side of the fence, and never speaks to mine! Couldn’t you just take her on a vacation?

Ha! There’s a thought.

In all seriousness, my wife is far more understanding than most. I’ll be the first to admit I have a serious case of GAS (Gun Acquisition Syndrome).

After recently spending over three grand on a Ken Netting smoothbore, I need to sell off some other firearms to offset the cost.

She's a beauty. Just a thought here, how thin would the ice be if you just sold some of her purses and shoes 🤔 Don't tell her I said that.

I kind of enjoy living, so I think I’ll pass on that idea. But hey, if you don’t hear from me for a while, you’ll know I took your advice.
