Hello, from Missouri.
I grew up in the Ozark hills. Spent most of my childhood roaming around in the woods. I have plenty of experience with firearms just never tried my hand with muzzleloaders. Most of my shooting now is at paper, namely turkey shoots with modified shotguns and .22 target rifles.
I do still enjoy getting out in the woods once in a while, usually after squirrels or mushrooms. I picked up a .32 Crockett at an auction, the idea of small game hunting with a muzzleloader appealed to me. I took it out to shoot it a few times and I found out I really like it. I like the slow pace and the fact you can tailor a load to fit the rifle without buying any dies or presses. I like it enough I have been thinking about picking up a smoothbore, ( been eyeballing Kashtuk Bowcraft Virginia Fowler).
