just purchased an 18 gauge Mortimer Sporting Gun that is missing some parts. It is missing the ramrod, ramrod pipes, and sights. According to the seller, it may have been bored out to a smoothbore. What would be a good source for replacement parts? I know that I'm not going to be able to find original parts, but would some of the reproduction parts fit this rifle? I didn't pay much for it; it was less than the price of a new Rice swamped barrel. Here's the link to the dealer's listing:

Does anyone know how old this may be? I'm thinking late 19th century.

The parts missing wouldn't be to hard to reproduce, I make all of my inlays sights and thimbles.

Is this an original Mortimer? If so, congrats.

The Pedersoli Mortimer came with either, or both, rifled and shotgun barrels. You can buy the Pedersoli parts, but they will be priced like gold.
