This is a Pecatonica River southern mountain kit with cm4 curly maple stock and a small Siler lock . In a 45 cal . Fire blue hardware

Your lock panels are a bit large, TN rifles tend to have slender lock panels.

My version of the same kit stock from Pecatonica. Another thing I do is start a taper of the top lock panel from above the sear screw to gradually fade the wood into the stock towards the barrel. This way I don't have to cut a notch for the **** to travel in that will be visible.

Well I thought it look a little odd . But I could find a good reference. I more likely will fix it . Thanks
