i took a picture of the samples and the metal i used....
and here's a list of what each metal is....
1....brass
2....1/4" bolts
3....wire fence
4....20 d common nails
5....unknown metal
6....cut nails
7....cast iron pipe
8....metal banding
and i also have the 5th coat of linseed oil on now....rubbed on by hand untill my fingers got warm....i know the light isn't good on this sample picture....i'll see if i can get a good one tommorrow....the grain really jumps now when you move it around....i'll get a short movie on my web sight showing the grain as i move it around in some good light and post the link to look at also.............bob
