Got the ramrod whittled down in about 8 hours, soldered the pipes and under rib on. Best news of all, I made a drill bit extension and drilled a straight ramrod channel

That Davis lock is an excellent one and is a very close replica of one that turns up on original Ohio rifles from time to time.
