New Canteen

Here's a turned canteen I finished for my son. Construction is pretty similar to the one I posted earlier. The strap holder details are different as is the color and "graphics". I made a photo record while making this piece. I won't call it a "tutorial" as that would imply I know what I'm doing. If anyone would like a copy send me your e-mail address.

I hand painted the lettering with acrylics, rubbed it down a little and applied a stain over it. After the stain "set" I rubbed it back.
