Hi - I'm new to the forum. I have been hunting with a caplock for many years and am just now reading up and getting interested in flintlocks.

Hi, and welcome! You sound like me 40 years ago; flintlocks were scary and unreliable. Now That is primarily what I shoot, other than my C&B revolvers and capper shotguns.
