A close friend of mine recently gave me a .54 cal GPR kit. He decided that after 14 years that he would probably never put it together. I used BC walnut stain and BC truoil on the stock, Laurel Mountain to brown the barrel and furniture. I tried to get as much of the fish belly out as I could. Sorry for the photography but it is the best I can do. The addiction continues.... :shocked2:

The bottom of the stock between the trigger guard and the toe bulges out on most of the GPR's I have seen. I just don't like that.. :hatsoff:
 
Really Nice!! I want one of them always have.I have the little brother in the Trade Rifle but just not as drawing to the eye as the GPR!!
 
Very nice looking GPR! I can't wait for my kit to get in and start building now.
