Congratulations on your retirement,
@troy2000 ! Within a few weeks, you'll wonder how you ever found time to work. Maybe sooner.

@TrapperDude , I live in Florida. There have been reports of various dealers around and about selling black powder at around $30 per pound. Prices online are attractive, but then you add in shipping and HazMat, and you're back up to the $30 per pound mark. You can save a dollar or two per pound buying in a larger quantity, but I never needed or had storage space for that much. I went in with a couple of guys on a group order a few weeks ago, and bought my first two pounds of Olde Eynsford. The OE costs more per pound than the regular GOEX, but after all was said and done, it cost me $31.40 per pound. The last order I bought on my own was five or six pounds of GOEX from Graf & Son, and it wasn't really any cheaper, mainly because I paid all of the HazMat and shipping myself.
Really, the only way to save a little on this is to get a group of people and place a big bulk order, 25 pounds or more.
Meanwhile, around thirty bucks is what we expect to spend, in my neck of the woods.
Best regards,
Notchy Bob
