Depends
In April I plan to go to Ft Charters. I plan to be about 1760 for my camp and will take just my TFC.
In June I plan to be in Arrowrock Mo for their night at the museum. Will likely take several guns fitting to mid Missouri history, colonial through Santa Fe trail and Fur trade era

I take two when I go. But I haven't went in a long time. I take a PRB rifle for the trail walk.
Sometimes clubs will add a long range target. If that happens 😉

Question... One of my rifles I shoot markedly better at 100 yards and 75, another better at 25 and fifty. Is it poor manners to switch rifles during a shoot or league to take advantage of this? I dont want to be rude or unfair. (not that I am all that great a shot).

Depends on the event. Just RB match I take two, one for a backup. I've taken up to four rifles for a match. If I have rifles I want to play with I take those too.

Since the original question was "how many firearms" I don't make any distinction in ignition system nor time period in that count and it remains- more than one.

Enough to shoot the main matches and two shotguns. One SXS and my fowler.

I usually only bring one, a percussion rifle. If I know there will be side matches, such as smoothbore and/or pistol I usually bring those too. So, it depends on the events.

I haven’t been to a rondo since 2010. I hope to attend at least one this summer. If they lift the covid restrictions.

Always have a "plan B". Here's my rule - "If I have a spare, I'll never have a problem. Don't take a spare, I'll have a problem." Spare gun, spare flints, spare caps, spare wrench, spare powder, spare balls, spare patches, spare truck keys, spare lighter, and spare spare.

Onliest thing I've never had two of is wimmin. Sometimes, one's too many.

I attended my last rendezvous in 2015 and before that one in 2013. There are not many near me and one is waaaay too commercial for my taste. One has been closed for the pandemic but going on this spring. I'll go but mostly to observe and visit. I don't shoot so well with macular degeneration and a slightly torn retina. However we do shoot still. I guess I should not expect much more at 90 years old. I have a lot of ML guns and mostly just hug 'em, look at 'em and shine 'em up ... but that is very enjoyable. This forum helps me stay in touch with this special part of life. Thank you all .. Polecat
